Climate change mitigation: From despair to hope

On April 30, 2020, I was invited by Manuela Mischke-Reeds to present to a new community: professional healers specializing in individual and collective trauma. The topic was how to maintain optimism in the face of climate change—for the therapist, their clients and the world at large. My 20 years' experience as a climate change researcher, strategist and modeler was appropriate for providing a factual context of what climate change was, why it's difficult to avert, and what is currently being done to mitigate it. I also gave a deeply personal account of how I've managed to stay optimistic despite the continuing bad news. You can watch the talk in its entirety by clicking below:
